Machine Operator  Doraville, GA  Temp to Hire  Pay rate: $14.31 per hour  Must be flexible to work 1st or 2nd Shift

Job Requirements

Responsibilities: Operate equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all policies, procedures, and JSAs Responsible for producing the highest quality product in accordance with quality standards and operating machinery following set standards and procedures. Properly set up and operates power for high speed filter machine Load and feed media and other materials in the machine Examine finished products for defects Record job times, supplies, and scrap used in the department Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on machine including cleaning, adjusting, and oiling. Maintain inventory Communicate product schedule with others Takes part in continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact work and quality of product Requirements: Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers Must be able to work 1st and 2nd shifts (will train on one shift then move to designated shift) Basic knowledge of computers. 6 months of recent (within 1 year) machine operating experience Must have experience performing setups on machines Must have experience reading and deciphering job specifications Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED - must provide a copy Must be able to read, write, and speak in English Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required Must be able to stand, walk and sit for a long period of time Knowledge and minimum 6 months experience using a Tape Measure Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen Must have reliable transportation
